Bitroot Protocol

The Bitroot protocol is a figurative product built around the Bitroot VM technology, which allows users to cast, issue, transfer and manage assets using the Bitroot protocol.

Bitroot protocol wallet creation

Create New Wallet: Clicking on this will create a new wallet and ask the user to save the mnemonic. the Bitroot protocol does not cache the mnemonic in the browser, so you will need to use it every time you log in.

Bitroot Protocol Asset Creation Name Type: There are three types of assets in the Bitroot protocol, namely Alphabetic name, Subasset, and Free numeric name.

  • Alphabetic name: for named assets, users can use capital letters to create asset names from 4 to 12 in length, but not starting with the letter A; this is also the commonly used asset category.

  • Subasset: for named assets, the user can select a named asset that has already been created and then create a subasset for it. This type of asset is suitable for scenarios where multiple tokens are required;

  • Free numeric name: randomly assigns a string starting with A as the token name, or you can customise the number after A. This type of asset name is more similar to what is commonly known as a contract address, is not readable, and is suitable for developers to use.

anti-spam fee: In order to resolve the bitcoin block space and prevent abuse of roboship, a certain amount of BRT is consumed as a handling fee when creating named assets with sub-assets.

Token Name: Enter an asset name that matches the rules based on the asset class mentioned above. If it is Free numeric name, this option will generate a random string, but user can customise this string.

Description: Enter a brief description of the asset. Typically, this description can contain information such as project description, project website, etc. This field is not required and can be customised at any time. This field is optional and can be changed at any time.

Quantity: enter the total amount of initial tokens, by default tokens will be allowed to be issued. If you want to disable the token issuance, you can jump to the asset management function to lock the token issuance.

Please note that the asset will exist in the created address by default after the asset creation is completed, and it will give the created address the ownership of the asset. If you have trust requirements for asset management, please use a multi-signature wallet for creation.

Bitroot Protocol Asset Management Token Send: Users can manipulate their assets and send them to any Bitroot wallet. Please note that only wallets that support Bitroot assets will recognise the corresponding tokens.

Token info: Except for BTC and BRT, all Bitroot assets will have a Token info display, where the source of information comes from the blockchain records, and is officially supported by Bitroot to ensure that each Token info is real and valid.

  • Owned By: is the address to which the ownership of this token points. Owned By: is the address to which this token belongs to. Owned By can operate the token issue, token lock, and token description information modification.

  • Description: is the description of the token, similar to the profile. It can be modified by paying a gas fee.

  • Total Issued: is the total amount of tokens issued.

  • Is locked: is whether the current tokens are locked for issuance. If it is ticked, tokens cannot be issued.

  • divisible token: whether the current token is allowed to be split, i.e. whether decimal point is allowed.

Ownership of assets: Whenever a Bitroot asset is created, the address where it was created is automatically assigned an ownership of the asset, which gives it certain administrative privileges and allows it to do the following types of things. Please note: Ownership of assets does not affect the ownership of tokens, and the address that owns the asset is not free to assign tokens to others.

  • Issue Additional: When the user has the ownership of the asset, he/she can operate the token additional function. Each token issuance will leave an issuance record and will be displayed on the Token info page. Please note: Since this permission will affect the economic model of tokens, it is recommended to authorise the operation through multi-signature wallets.

  • Lock token issuance: Users can lock token issuance when they own the asset. Once the token issuance is locked, it is not possible to issue more tokens and the locked status cannot be accessed. token info page will also show whether the token is in locked status or not.

  • transfer ownership: When the user has the ownership of the asset, he/she can transfer the ownership of the tokens to another address. After successful transfer, the original address cannot use any ownership function.

  • Change Token Description: When the user owns the asset, he/she can change the token description information. Token description information can be changed at any time.

Bitroot Asset Trading

Bitroot Exchange is a DEX built on the Bitcoin network that is completely decentralised and transparent. It currently uses an order book for trading and supports the creation of trading pairs for any Bitroot asset.

Top pairs: Showing the current pairs that are popular in the market;

select another pairs: search for pairs, you need to input the names of two tokens;

All Pairs: display all pairs in the market;

Price history: simple price chart, if there is no transaction history for the current pair, the chart will not be realistic.

Buy/Sell:

  • address: allows you to switch between different addresses in the current Bitroot wallet;

  • Your balance: shows the balance of tokens in the selected wallet;

  • Lowest ask price: the lowest ask price in the current market;

  • Highest bid price: the highest bid price in the current market;

  • Obtainble: the amount of money that will be available after the transaction;

  • price: enter the unit price of the order

  • amount: enter the number of orders

  • Total:According to the unit price and quantity, the total price is automatically calculated.
