# Add Bitroot network information

## Use the extension wallet

Install the MetaMask extension in your browser<br>

Follow the instructions to create a wallet and keep your private key and recovery phrase safe.<br>

Note: For the safety of your assets, please install MetaMask from the project's official website.<br>

## MetaMask sets up the BRT network:

Click Networks drop down button at the top;

Select Custom RPC;

Fill in each parameter with the following information then Save:<br>

* Network name: Bitroot Test
* RPC URL: <https://test-rpc.bitroot.co/>
* Chain IDid: 1337
* Native token: BRT
* Precision: 18
* Browser: <https://test-scan.bitroot.co/>
